Welcome to Calico Collective.

Calico Collective is centred around creating consciously crafted, small batch homeware and jewellery. Much of our inspiration comes from natural colours and textures, resulting in an artisan product range filled with earthy tones and organic shapes - the perfect way to bring a sense of serenity to your home.

Our story began early in 2020 when we were exploring new materials to work with and stumbled across jesmonite - a fully recyclable, environmentally conscious alternative to resin. The past four years have seen us develop our core collection of products from plant pots to greeting cards, earrings to hand made prints.

Calico Collective was born out of a love of luxury artisan homeware, as well as a desire to work with environmentally conscious materials and processes. Each small batch of homeware products is mixed and poured by hand, meaning every single product we make is completely unique. Home decor, statement jewellery, stationery and more. Everything is handmade by founder and designer Charlotte, in our Manchester based studio space. Not only are our products a wonderful addition to any home - or outfit - but they are functional and built to last.

| Ethos

The goal when starting Calico Collective was to create a brand focused around consciously crafted, small batch homeware and jewellery – with the aim of creating something for every budget. Accessibility is incredibly important to us, and so finding a way to create products that can be suitable for any budget felt like a good place to start. Alongside running Calico Collective, I work as a freelance Theatre Facilitator with a specialism in design – where I have found that my passion for showing the importance of the creative arts as a career has influenced my thinking and the ethos behind Calico Collective.

Much of my work takes inspiration from the natural world, which has been the case for as long as I can remember. I love using neutral, earthy tones in my products and often find that I take inspiration from natural and botanical reference images when creating.
